Ricardo was born on September 20th, 1952 in Caracas, Venezuela, where he lives and creates.
From 1955 to 1970 he lived in Valencia, where he received painting classes with the painter Josefina Martinez Herrera. He also lived in Valencia from 1979 to 1980.
He studied law at the Andres Bello Catholic University in Caracas, graduating as a lawyer in 1975. He has been a follower of photography from and early age. He studied photography on his account in Cambridge, England from 1978 to 1979. His photographic work have been published in the Letra Inversa Magazine of the Notitarde newspaper and in the Individual section of the national newspaper El Nacional, in the edition of the 8th of September 2010. He has published and sold calendars of his photographs from 2010 to 2014.
Since May 2019 he has exhibited at the Curator’s Voice Art Projects in Miami, Florida, whose Director-Curator is Milagros Bello Ph.D, participating in various exhibitions such as Accessed Territories, Orbist, Open Forum, Abstract Prototypes, Wyndwood Juried Show in November 2019, where he obtained third place in Mixed Media, Arte of Edge, Premiun Show Basel Season, Ruled, De/Ruled. He has also exhibited at ICFF Fair 2019 New York and at Art Palm Beach Show 2020.
He also participated in the virtual exhibition Covid 19 The Art of the Isolation, Survey I, obtaining the distinction of Honorable Mention, he participated in the virtual exhibition Covid 19 The Art of the Isolation, Survey II. He has exhibited at the Hamptons Virtual Art Fair from September to November 2020. He is currently part of an exhibition at www.miacuratorial.com in Subject Matter/Acid Times.
Works developed
Ricardo is currently developing his work firstly using the collage technique through the use of everyday objects, secondly taking advantage of the non-traditional or unorthodox medium> adhesive tapes, and thirdly using crayons, colors and markers.

Nació el 20 de septiembre de 1952 en la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela, ciudad de residencia.
Desde 1955 hasta 1970 vivió en la ciudad de Valencia, dónde recibió clases de pintura con la pintora Josefina Martínez Herrera. También vivió en Valencia entre los años comprendidos en 1979 y 1980.
Cursó (desde 1970) en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Caracas, estudios de derecho, graduándose de abogado en 1975.
Seguidor de la fotografía desde temprana edad. Realizó estudios sobre fotografía por mi propia cuenta en Cambridge, Inglaterra, durante 1978 y 1979. Sus obras fotográficas han sido publicadas en la Revista Letra Inversa del diario Notitarde y en la Sección La Individual del Lunes del diario El Nacional en la edición del 8 de noviembre de 2010.. Ha publicado y vendido calendarios de sus fotografías en los años 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 y 2014.
Desde el mes de Mayo de 2019 ha expuesto en Curator’s Voice Art Projects, (Little River, Miami, Florida), cuya Director-Curador es Milagros Bello, Ph.D., participando en diversas exposiciones, tales como Accessed Territories, Orbits, Open Forum, Abstract Prototypes, Wynwood Juried Show August and November 2019 <en el último show obtuvo el tercer puesto en Mixed Media>, Art on the Edge, Premium Show/Basel Season, Ruled/De-Ruled. Expuso en ICFF Fair 2019 New York y en Art Palm Beach Show 2020. Obras desarrolladas.
Está desarrollando las obras, en primer lugar, empleando la técnica de collage mediante la utilización de objetos cotidianos; en segundo lugar aprovechando un medio no tradicional o poco ortodoxo: cintas adhesivas o tapes eléctricos, y en tercero lugar, usando creyones y marcadores.
