Given the virulent attack of Chinese origin of the so-called Covid19, we wanted to give a sample of the personal isolation that the world population lives until now. Its 19 squares, representing confinement. They correspond to 14 of black color, this is the symbol of the darkness or of the negative but also, contradictorily, of the sum of all the colors; 5 colors; a pair (2) (a couple) of the same color go together, traversed within the pandemic, fighting for life; 3 remain, of which 2 are of the same color (uneven pairs) but always separated, each one within the chain; and the last one in another color, the anarchic one, which is placed where it pleases, perhaps it is the artist.
It is a chain of life, where each square is necessarily connected to another square, where it shows an interconnection between the world’s inhabitants; we represent urban art; we choose our square; these, the squares are in the most diverse position; they do not have the author’s signature (pleasing the curator) but in pencil on the back; the position of the work is to the taste of the owner. This chain of life can represent a society, a family or yourself, your own personality.
These works are elaborated on paper; the square is outlined in pencil and filled in with marker. The dimensions of the works are 48 cm x 32.50 cm <18.89 x 12.79 inches>.
Piece number 24 <# 19-24.A / B / C / D / E / F> is in turn made up of 6 sub-pieces, that represent the formation of a complete or whole piece <# 19-24.D> . It can be seen as the decomposition of the elements of the work.
Ante el ataque virulento de origen chino del llamado Covid19, hemos querido dar una muestra del aislamiento personal que la población mundial vive actualmente. Son 19 cuadrados, en representación de la enfermedad. Corresponden a 14 de color negro, este es el símbolo de la oscuridad o de lo negativo pero también, contradictoriamente, de la suma de todos los colores; 5 de colores; un par (2) (una pareja) de un mismo color van juntos, atravesados dentro de la pandemia, luchando por la vida; quedan 3, de los cuales 2 son del mismo color (las parejas disparejas) pero siempre separados, cada quien dentro de la cadena; y el último de otro color, el anárquico, que se coloca donde le da la gana, quizás sea el artista.
Es una cadena de vida, donde cada cuadrado está conectado necesariamente con otro cuadrado, lo que permite evidenciar una interconexión entre los habitantes del mundo; representamos el arte urbano; nosotros escogemos nuestro cuadrado; estos, los cuadrados están en la posición más diversas; no tienen firma del autor (complaciendo a la curadora) sino a lápiz en el reverso; la posición de la obra es a gusto del poseedor. Esta cadena de vida puede representar a una sociedad, a una familia o a uno mismo, a su propia personalidad.
